Yes, 10 strange things about me that most of you probably don't know and which will most likely make recoil just a teensy bit. What with knowing me in real life, and all.

Tagged by the lovely and talented - go give her some love, she really is a lovely person

1) I used to bite my nails a lot, but I finally managed to beat the habit by using nail varnish and a fair bit of will power. I'm also fairly flexible due to biting my toenails on a regular basis.

2) I'm currently puzzling over a way to fix the hilt of my cardboard-and-duct-tape sword for a cosplay in September. The problem is that I used the top of a plastic bottle to make the fancy hand protector, and it doesn't have enough strength to stay stuck down to the rest of it. I'll sort something out, but lord knows what that will be.

3) I have 3 alternative body alterations - an ear stretcher in my left ear, a labret stud, and an industrial bar across the top of my right ear. I have plans for a nose piercing and a few more in my ears, and I'm also getting my first tattoo on Saturday - a celtic butterfly on my ankle.

4) It's very rare when I can go to sleep in any position and not feel burning nausea in my throat. It's not an about-to-throw-up feeling, but it is something I've suffered from since a very early age. The only way to get to sleep is to lie on my front, and some nights even that doesn't work.

5) When I was in Year 9, I suffered from a very painful knee condition. When I went to the doctors about it, I was told that I had a muscle imbalance because my kneecaps are too small. Apparently, this happens a fair bit.

6) Despite being British and growing up with Harry Potter as a large part of my childhood, I was completely disenchanted with the franchise after watching the 4th movie and reading the 6th book. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was the second book ever I could never bring myself to finish. The first was Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.

7) There is a roundabout in my town which I do not like in the slightest. As a roundabout, it's fairly reasonable on most days. However, I failed my first driving test there by nearly crashing within the first 2 minutes of starting, and I also had my first near-crash there, which caused me to take off my green P-plates in a panic - well, they could have identified me by them, instead of by the fact I drive a car with a very uncommon make and brand.

8) Every Life Should Have 9 Cats - so far, mine has had 11. In order, they were called Ebony, Tabitha, Ross, Smudge, Sukie, Bonnie, Clyde, Zoe, Chloe, Rosie and Poppy.  To date, 4 died of illness or injury, 2 were run over, 2 ran away, and I'm currently living with Bonnie, Clyde and Poppy.

9) I would love to go on holiday in the Carribean, USA or Canada. However, every holiday I've been on, I've gone with my Dad, and he does not do well with flying. 4 hours is his limit, which made the one time we flew to Newfoundland in Canada to go to my uncle's wedding a very stressful trip for him.

10) Doing Psychology at A-level and beyond is both a blessing and a curse. On the one side, it gives you an interesting insight into how the world operates and why people do as they do - but on the other hand, you will spend quite some time second-guessing every decision you make. This is particularly aggravating when you have never really fancied anyone, and think you may have taken a shine to someone.

It took me a long time to think of things to put coming towards the end of this journal, and hopefully it doesn't sound like a "Woe is me" cop-out of any sort. I love reading this sort of journal when artists on here whom I admire post them up - hopefully, this is just as interesting an insight into who I am as those are for other people. If that made any sense at all.

I am back. Back from tanning for a fortnight in Bulgaria. Back in my drizzly little country and in my cat-covered bed and JESUS CHRIST OVER 100 NOTIFICATIONS.

This may not sound like much to many of you, certainly for over 14 days, but I am currently operating on 29 hours of napping on various forms of transport for 5 minute stints and everything seems a little crazy right now. I haven't even checked how many Youtube vids I have to catch up on yet... Mainly because Youtube subscriptions only shows stuff from the last week of uploading.

So, my agenda right now runs something like "Need to sleep at some point, need to eat but don't know what's hunger and what's an upset stomach from not eating/sleeping, need to reply/deal with all my DevArt messages, need to check Facebook and add new friends from Bulgaria, need to sleep some more, then maybe food and/or Youtube vids." Fun times!

Tomorrow I'm going to the airport and flyinng off for a 2 week holiday in Bulgaria This means I won't be active on here or anywhere else, and when I get back I should be lovely and brown and hopefully have an awesome present for ILoveBrucieD's birthday, which I'm away for...

I'm also having my first pedicure tomorrow, which should be interesting :3 Everything's packed for going away, although my luggage was overweight before I took some stuff out :/ I'm also a tad obsessed with Fruits Basket, which isn't my usual anime of choice, but it does have a certain edge to it which I like. And I've just run out of things to say, apart from I COME BACK 1 DAY LATE TO SEE ADE EDMONDSON PERFORM IN A FIELD NEAR MY TOWN >:I

Anyway, yes! Me, the stranger whom none of you have heard from in forever, updating my journal! It's been literally a full semester since I updated you all, so lord knows I'm gonna miss a load of crap from my weird little life.

Why didn't I update in so long? I'll be honest, at first I was like "Nothing ever happens " and then it was just so long I forgot about updating at all. But anyone who knows me knows I've still been as active as ever on here, so it's not like I've died or anything

Anyway, this entry is mainly to get rid of the last entry because it's juuust a tad stale now, and to let you all know that I just finihed my last assignment about 5 minutes ago. I have no exams. I have only to submit this bastard through the internet, and I am actually officially on Summer Holiday. Yeah. In very early May.

Next Saturday I'm going to go see Ade Edmondson and the Bad Sheperds again (although tickets haven't arrived yet...) with my friend Then, I'm going to MCM expo in London for the first time, doing my first cosplay which I'm uber excited about! I'm gonna be Shanks from One Piece, and hope like hell I don't have to write anything because he's lost his left arm Although right now I am having the most horrendous arse of a time finding a suitable wig. But hopefully I'll prevail there.

Then, not even a week after MCM, I'm packing my bags and winging it to Obzor in Bulgaria with my parents for a fortnight I'm actually starting to get excited for that now (And god damn, I must shake this habit of using smiley faces as my punctuation > ) Finally, in mid July, I'm going to see Iron Maiden live for the first time!

So yes, my life is pretty sweet right now. I leave you with this: MINECRAFT TROLOLO~!

Well, I got back from Derby yesterday, and now I have a lovely 10 days to relax while notes left by Mother tell me the list of jobs she thinks I'm going to do

First, I lost round 1 of , but my opponent did a good job, and even though (s)he killed my OC, Ian, if (s)he loses now, I get to draw a jokey comic of Ian haunting her OC's ass It was fun while it lasted, anyway

I also commissioned a new avatar from which ended up being around £3.29 after the conversion rate So no more crappy old psychadelic random colours! Woo :3

I've probably done a tad crap on my exams, due to either the hardness of the questions, or me not realising that there was MORE TO REVISE than there actually was. So, while I reckon I did well enough to pass (I think it's a 40% pass grade, or something like that), I'm not heading towards a Frst degree yet :<

I also need to stop using smileys as punctuation, or as much as I do. But at least I've stopped using 'lol' all the time. Oh, and when I went to pay off the overdue part of my accommodation fee, it got declined. Then I got a lovely automated call from my bank saying that yes, it had been declined, and these were my last 4 transactions. Was I sure it was me who made them all? FRIGGING YES, I'M A STUDENT ON A STUDENT ACCOUNT, AND YOU ASK ME IF £1246.39 GOING TO A 'college, university, or place of education' WAS MADE BY ME?

Yeah. Anyway, I have a bit of free time on my hands now, and hopefully at some point today me and will be getting together to kill off Lara in Tomb Raider 2 in many interesting and hilarious ways. (Also, I got a lip ring, but don't tell my mother.)
